There’s no doubt that young people with Tourette’s face many barriers imposed by society and their environment, but it’s also true that they can break down many of them.
From the project THE PATH FOR INCLUSION we propose a unique and completely revolutionary methodology that generates dynamic, fun, and appealing itineraries that train youth with TS as leaders, while making them persons of reference for the inclusion of people with Tourette’s by promoting social awareness and the improvement of the world in which they live, thus contributing to the adaptation of social entities and the achievement of the SDGs.
This methodology proposes a gymkhana where the youth with Tourette’s achieves a series of milestones to obtain 6 digital badges that certify their inclusion and training in: LEISURE AND FREE TIME, ENVIRONMENT, VOLUNTEERING, WORK and PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS. By obtaining all badges he/she will complete the itinerary and be rewarded with the “PROMOTER OF CHANGE” certificate, which qualifies them as an expert capable not only of contributing to the inclusion of other young people with Tourette’s, but also working as an instructor in leisure and free time social associations.
